Interest Check: On-Forum Chatbox RP Event

Given our lack of expedient mediums for RP, how interested/willing would everyone be in engaging in one or more chatbox RP events for that 'real time' feel? Date and time would be worked out depending on interested parties.

Three people is plenty enough for me!

Those interested, please give a general availability for the next two weeks, if you could, so we can nail down a reasonable session time-- or two, if we have to divvy up.

I should be clear for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday of this week, as well as the same next week. Anything after 8:00 EST is ideal.

Everything except Friday Morning (er... Thursday Evening US) would be fine for me.

Any of the previously suggested times works for me.

I'm available all week, mostly in the morning though. Which is why I selected "It depends", I know that many others are mainly available in the evening. Whatever the outcome may be, i'll do my best to take part!

We may need to split into two sessions- but what I'm looking at right now is a Friday (Aug 3rd) meetup.

What I propose is thus:

1) If we don't get to a forum RP of Viktor's joining story in time and he can't make it to the evening session, I can catch him in the morning and do that via chat (subject to what you want, Viktor, of course!) Anyone else who wants to attend is certainly able!

2) An evening session at 8:15pm EST. If I'm able, I'll also nab this one.


Please say something if either or neither of these work!


I will now go do lots of internet research after a good calender synching program (if you know of one, please to inform!) for 'average' schedule availability- with all these time zones, I'mma need it.

I can make the evening session. Probably the morning session as well.

I was going to be in a raid in AoC at 9:00, but I haven't actually signed up. And as this is going to be our first meaningful guild RP, I think I'll be here instead.

Plans have opened up and it seems I will be able to make tonights chat session, sorry for not clarifying earlier - been a hectic few days.

So, this never actually got started.

Suggestions on a new time? I can be there any time until 7:00 EST Saturday, and I'm free all day from noon onwards on Sunday.

Oh, shoot. I was thinking 8:15 my time. I derped. That..was totally my bad. I'm so sorry.

I can try for tomorrow, but I'll be crazy distracted. Sunday evening, I've got an obligation in another game. Monday, maybe, if it's early enough. Tuesday, I start a new job so my schedule is shot until further notice.

EDIT: HOWEVER, the event I had planned is totally executable without me, or if need be, Worf can play Ru/Bakshi in whatever NPC mode is needed. I'm not required to run it if it works out that everyone else can make it.

My Sunday evening freed up- based on previous mentions, I believe it's free for everyone else too.

How does 6pm EST sound? Which is 4pm for me. Writing it down so maybe it /registers/ this time in my head.

Edit: I downloaded a phone app that makes calculating across time zones a heckuvalot easier. The appointed time is 'cat breakfast' time, so I will be awake and present, but could get keyboard-blocked by 'cat post-feeding affection' time.

Edit 2: Belay that. EST land is currently on EDT. My suddenly-less-handy app works by city instead of timezone. I'll definitely be there.
